Elif Aktürk is an Assoc. Professor (Doç. Öğr. Üyesi) in the Department of German Language and Literature at Süleyman Demirel University (SDÜ), with research focusing on 19th-century German literary representations of Jewish identity, colonial encounters, and modernist anti-heroes. She holds a PhD in German Language and Literature and has published on key figures such as Gustav Freytag and Uwe Timm. In addition to her teaching and research, she serves as a Special Advisor for international students at SDÜ and sits on multiple departmental commissions, contributing to curriculum quality and student affairs.
