The International Shakespeare Festival has been featured by Anadolu Agency following its recognition by the Shakespeare Association of America (SAA), becoming the first project outside the United States to receive the organization’s Public Contribution Award.
In the article titled “Türkiye’s International Shakespeare Festival receives landmark US award,” Anadolu Agency highlighted the festival’s international impact, interdisciplinary programme, and contribution to cultural dialogue through the arts.
The report also included remarks by Dr. İlker Özçelik, who emphasized the unifying power of literature and art, while SAA President Dr. Ruben Espinosa described the festival as “a model worthy of global recognition.”
